Learn to be a Jedi Knight at Spinnaker Tower's

    'ALIEN INVASION' event!

The Spinnaker Tower has announced further plans for its spectacular 16-day, extraterrestrial event this autumn - Alien Invasion - running from Sat 18 October to Sun 2 Nov 2008 (including half term). The latest additions to the schedule are a Jedi Knight School for budding children and adult Jedi Knights, as well as special guest appearances at different intervals from the UK Garrison (featuring Star Wars stormtroopers and other characters), 'Sparky the Robot' - a fun interactive electric blue and gold robot on wheels, and a moving-talking Dalek who will 'exterminate' anyone who gets in his way!

Three fantastic Jedi Knight School sessions are taking place on the Café/Bar Roof Terrace of the iconic tower for up to 20 participants each day every weekend during the event (Sat 18, Sun 19, Sat 25, Sun 26 Oct, Sat 1 and Sun 2 Nov; 11.00am, 1.30pm and 4.00pm). The classes will be one hour long, comprising of Jedi knights in full costume demonstrating real fight shows using the infamous lightsaber, amongst other weapons, followed by workshops. Everyone who takes part will also receive a lightsaber and a certificate confirming their official training as a Jedi Knight! All this for just £15.00 for children and £16.50 for adults, which includes admission to the Tower!

In addition, Alien Invasion will ensure every visitor to the attraction will get to rub shoulders with aliens and much loved sci-fi movie characters for FREE, at a stunning exhibition of famous sci-fi movie props and costumes including favourites such as Darth Vader, Daleks, Robocop, Yoda, Terminator, Alien and many more
