Lose yourself amongst the ambient and aromatic hubbub of food stalls this August, as The Thai Fun Fair Festival comes to Danson Park, Kent bringing an authentic taste of South East Asian finery in association with Thai Festival Organisation (TFO). This being the largest of all TFO events this year – The Thai Festival moves from Greenwich Park to its new home in Danson Park, an unmissable family event guaranteed to excite, tantalise and tickle your taste buds!
Permeate your sense of adventure within the steam, smoke and scents as you experience time-honoured as well as modern fusion Thai cuisine cooked before you with all the energy and spontaneity of a bustling street market!
Stalls will be hosted by premium restaurant members of TFO, whose head chefs will be creating dishes inspired by years of commitment to only the very best recipes and freshest of ingredients.
Kruntep, Patara, and Pansa restaurants amongst many others will showcase over 45 unique dishes from 4 different regions of Thailand, alongside Thai Supermarket Art Muay.
Enjoy classic favourites such as Pad Thai and Green Curry cooked with authentic skill to delicious perfection, or try something new and feed your adventurous streak with recipes such as Yam Hua Plee and Kai Himmapan! (Aromatic Banana Flower Prawns and Chicken with Pineapple).
Bringing together dishes from culinary landmarks in Northern Chiang Mai right down to the picturesque coastal south of Phuket, The Thai Festival brings the best to Brighton, taking you on a gastronomic tour of the Kingdom of Thailand.
With Thai craft stalls inside, as well as Thai classical music and Little Siam Trust Exhibition (a Thai charity), take the time to discover the heart of Thailand’s ancient culture and history. Moreover, the festival promises to entertain the whole family, with ornate fruit and vegetable carving, as well as face painting for younger enthusiasts. There will also be a Thai Beer Garden for you to grab a refreshing Singha Beer or glass of wine from Monsoon Valley Thai Wines.
