Went to Carters Steam Fair at Pinkneys Green near Maidenhead at the weekend with the family, making the most of the weather and having a fab time! The fair seems bigger and better than ever. The owners have obviously had a busy winter making sure the rides and stands are at their immaculate, colorful, shiny best. It's wonderful that these rides have been salvaged and are so well looked after that they will see many, many years more use, enabling new generations of kids to experience the fantastic fun, sights and sounds of old-style fun-fairs. A great trip down memory lane for us big kids too!
