The Coventry Christmas Lights Switch-on will feature girl band, The Saturdays, and boy band, Avenue, as well as
special appearances by legendary cartoon favourite, Scooby-Doo
and ever popular Roary the Racing Car™ and Big Chris!
Supported by Mercia Radio, the Coventry Christmas Lights Switch-on will start with a selection of family entertainment from 2 -
4pm, followed by the carnival procession from 4-5pm. This year's
carnival theme is magical faraway lands, with floats from many local
primary schools.
The Switch On itself will happen at 5pm with
the evening brought to a close with a grand finale of musical
treats from chart topping girl band, the Saturdays alongside Avenue and
City Girls from 5.45 to 7pm.
