The countdown to Christmas in Glasgow begins in George Square
as Glasgow's Winter Festivals programme kicks off with the Lights Switch-on which promises to reveal the city's most spectacular
Christmas lights yet.
A host of children's
characters will be present to entertain the kids, and a
music roadshow will provide the background to the festive fireworks
display on the roof of the City Chambers.

Tickets will be released on Saturday 25 October 2008 at 9am (4 per household).
