This year's Warwick Christmas Lights Switch-on and Victorian Christmas Evening will take place between 4:00 -
9:00 pm.
BBC Coventry and Warwickshire will host a packed programme of
entertainment on the stage including can-can dancers, choirs and Victorian
singers.
There will be attractions throughout the town centre including a
traditional carousel, a horse and carriage, a working blacksmith, birds
of prey, traction engines and much more.
A procession from St Mary's
Church, Warwick will provide a colourful highlight just before the lights
switch-on.
A mixture of craft and charity stalls will run through Swan Street,
Market Place and Old Square. Visitors and stall holders are encouraged
to wear period costume and enter the Best Dressed Victorian
competition.
Please note that the heart of Warwick town centre will be closed to traffic for the evening
to create a safe, family friendly environment.
