Edinburgh Zoo, established in 1913 by the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, this is one of Britain's largest and most exciting wildlife attractions. Explore the breathtaking hillside parkland to discover over 1000 beautiful animals, many threatened in the wild. Don't miss the daily penguin parade, sealion feeding, hilltop safari and lots of interesting keeper talks and events where not only can you learn about natural animal behaviour but also see it demonstrated in front of your very eyes! With plenty of cafeterias, snack kiosks, new play areas and a wonderful giftshop, it's a great day out for all ages. And of course there are the two newest arrivals - Giant Pandas Tian Tian and Yang Guang. Please contact Edinburgh Zoo directly or visit the Edinburgh Zoo website for more info

Facilities at Edinburgh Zoo
New this year at Edinburgh Zoo
Edinburgh Zoo welcomes the arrival of two Giant Pandas, Tian Tian and Yang Guang, from China on 4th December 2011. They will be on show from 16th December but as demand is likely to be very high, prebooking of timed visits to the Panda enclosure is essential
