IFTK wins UK Best Kids Website Award

Moley and the team at IFTK Central are delighted to announce that
IdeasForTheKids.com has been awarded third place in the category of Best Kids
Website in the BT Online Excellence Awards.
Following a public nomination process, over 5,000 websites were reviewed by
a group of independent judges from which they shortlisted just 5 in each
category. A further public vote then ranked these sites.
OK, so who beat us to the top places? The BBC’s own CBeebies site nabbed the
top spot, and the Disney website came in second. We’d be the first to admit
that these are indeed great websites, and they truly deserve their places at
the top. They have been around a long time, are global brands in their own
right and have big budgets to support them, so much as we’d have loved to come
in first or second, we certainly can’t complain with third place and are truly
humbled to be in such great company.
Having been in existence just a few short months, we are thrilled that our efforts
have been recognised so quickly.
Of course, we must also thank you, our users, for supporting us with your
nominations and for voting us into third place.
Without you we would be merely a good idea that never really got anywhere.
Thanks to your support, comments, encouragement and continuing use of the site,
we are growing from strength to strength.
Needless to say, Moley and the team at IFTK remain committed to keeping
IdeasForTheKids.com the most comprehensive source of child friendly places to
take kids in the UK.
We continue to add more attractions and special dated events every week, and
will be adding more useful functions on the site regularly.
