The Quick Search field searches all key data. It is useful for getting a larger number of results, if, say you wanted a broad range of ideas or if you know exactly what you are looking for.

To use Quick Search, simply enter a postcode, town or county to find what attractions are nearby.

If you want a particular type [...] of attraction, eg castle, train, museum, enter this keyword and a town, county or postcode to find suitable venues in that area.

If you want to find details of a particular attraction, just type in its name and hit "search".

Advanced Search

The Advanced Search function gives you much more control over your search. Use any combination of the following:

Want to find out what's in a particular location? Eg near you or friends you are visiting, where you are going for the weekend or on holiday.
Want to find a particular type of attraction in an area?
It is pouring with rain, so you want to find something indoors?
Want to find something that's free or in a particular price range?
